When I’m not writing, I’m working on checking items off my bucket list. My current list includes:
- Write a short story collection; send it to a publishing house
- Host a photo exhibit in downtown Fredericksburg; sell 10 prints
- Create a photography book and sell 10 copies
- Write 3-5 “Maple the Mutt” children books; send it to a publishing house
- Write my murder mystery; send it to a publishing house
- Write my funny book; send it to a publishing house
- Go skydiving once
- Read every major religious book once
- Read every book on Modern Library’s “Top 100” list
- Read the dictionary once
- Win a game of chess
- Maintain a weight of 210-215 pounds
- Get visible abs and prominent traps
- Bowl a 200 once
- Play Stevie Ray Vaughn’s “Little Wing” on the electric guitar
- Learn how to play the blues harmonica
- Learn how to surf
- Pursue at least one of my inventions
- Bench 300 pounds three times in a row
- Restore and own a Ford Fairlane 500
- Volunteer at a Special Olympics event
- Go on an Alaskan cruise
- Learn how to cook 20 decent meals
- Shoot and make a three-pointer on an NBA court
- Learn how to do the Crypt Walk
- Learn the basics of car mechanics
- Learn the basics of piloting
- Drive across country/take photos of old motels for a book
- Learn another language and use it in a country
